Redneck Tie Dyes Website Status report

Just in case anyone has been here, yes, there have been a few already, I’ll tell ya how the site is coming along. Well, as of yesterday, I was almost done with the basics, you know, determining the overall design and layout of the theme, then, as usual, I changed my mind and scrapped what I had done! I found that there were a few things about the theme I was using that just were not gonna work with this site!

Just so that you know, I’m David, aka, CarpetGuy, and I build websites as well as do the artwork and screen-printing for this site. I am not perfect, not even close, but when I am doing anything creative, I may start out in one direction and end up in another if I can make something work or look better, so, don’t be surprised if you see the whole site get changed again sometime. Anyway, I think I am happy with the site now, so other than hopefully a minor cosmetic tweak here and there, I should be able to get started listing products and such soon.

Oh, I am sure somebody is going to ask, so I will answer it in advance, the artwork with the little hippie and armadillo, I think that is supposed to represent Wendell and I, he is the hippie, and does the Tie Dyeing, I am the armadillo, you know, it is kind of chubby, like me, it has a shell, which is kinda like me, but the armadillo has a cowboy hat and boots, I don’t, but I am a full blooded Texan, so…..I guess that explains it!
